After four years of dating, my boyfriend and I are finally ready to tie the knot. He took me to a fancy restaurant last weekend, got down on one knee before the dessert came out, and asked me to marry him. Although this was not entirely unexpected, he still managed to make the occasion very sweet and romantic, so I couldn't ask for anything more. Finding an inexpensive elopement package shouldn't be too difficult. I know that this kind of thing is pretty popular these days, so I'm sure we'll have plenty of different options to choose from. For example, I just did a few quick online searches earlier today, and found pages and pages of websites run by travel agencies that specialize in organizing inexpensive elopement packages. I didn't look closely at any of them, but noticed that some of the destinations included Las Vegas, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas. All of those places would be truly amazing, so I'm confident that we'll come up with a plan that appeals to both of us. I admit that I already peeked at some of the prices, and I was actually pretty surprised at how low they were. I'm not sure if this has to do with online travel agencies offering bigger discounts on inexpensive elopement packages or what, but I was impressed by how affordable everything was. Anyway, I can't wait to sit down with my husband-to-be and find the perfect inexpensive elopement package for our big day. It'll be just the two of us, with no family drama to worry about -- which is precisely what we want!
